The Hong Kong Tourbillon brand – Memorigin aims to enhance the development in the watch and design industry. Since 2012, Memorigin is used to inviting the Hong Kong representative celebrity as designer to design a tourbillon watch collection. In this year, Memorigin worked with one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2011 – Mary Yu to launch masterpiece.
Because of Mary’s hard-work, she was elected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2011. In the design industry, she is full of experience. In 2008, she was responsible for designing the staff uniform of the Equestrian competitions at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics that is named as the future star in the design industry. Although she had rich experience on the design works, this is the first time for her to take the challenge in launching a tourbillon watch – a kind of most complicated mechanical watch in the World. With the assistance of the Memorigin, a Lady’s tourbillon watch collection – Eternity Series is finished, with a love story behind representing the lifelong love.
In Chongqing, a couple escaped from their village because of unsettling with the unfair culture long year ago. The husband leaded his wife to live in a high mountain away from the public. In order to make his wife easier to pass through the mountain, he built a long stone step. This love story influenced many people and is greatly reported the media. Everyone simply think it will only happen in the human world. But, actually, a kind of animal also believes in marriage once in a lifetime. This is Black-necked Swan. Designer – Mary projected an image of 2 swans swimming in the lake on the dial, expressing the faith of true love. Once you look carefully, 2 swans look each other head to head, forming a heart shape, under a shining lake background made by mother of pearl. The 10 pieces of diamond are forming as the ripples on the lake sparkling under the sun. The 4 pieces of ruby seem like the roses along the lake. A great picture with a great romantic story happens in this way. This is the scene that you must enjoy.
As the size of ladies’ watch is small, the assembling procedure is more complex than making a men’s watch. In order to provide a highly stable timepiece, Memorigin aim to launch the tourbillon movement in a frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour. The off-center tourbillon gives an intense momentum from the appearance. On the craftsmanship and sense of art basis, it fulfills all the requirements of ladies.
