Hong Kong actor Bowie Wu Feng (Sau Gor), whose career spanned over six decades, is hosting the “Bowie Wu Happy Party 2021” this June at the Hong Kong Coliseum. It has been three years after he held his previous concert. The achievement makes the 89-year-old the eldest person to ever holding a concert at the Coliseum. To commemorate the event, the Hong Kong tourbillon brand Memorigin launched the “88 Happy Tourbillon” for Bowie. The concert was originally scheduled to be held in May last year. It was postponed due to the epidemic. “I was 88 when designing the watch. Since the number ‘8’ sounds similar to the word which means ‘prosper’ or ‘wealth’, having it as my design concept would bring joy to everyone. This year I am 88 + 1, not only does it mean affluence, but also longevity.”

The fortune-themed watch has gold as the main color tone. The brand utilized its engraving techniques and carved four gold coins at 12 o’clock position on the dial to form the number ‘88’. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock position is surrounded by gold ingots and coins. It symbolizes a river of gold flowing into your pocket. The indices are decorated with lustrous red sapphire crystal and auspicious cloud pattern, adding blessings to the watch.
